When artist Obey aka. Sheppard Fairy needed help with a project in Milwaukee he came to WCL for our expertise in large format art preparation.
Before starting painting the mural, WCL’s team did concrete restoration to the building and applied a water proofing system to weather protect the canvas Obey’s team would paint.
After the mural was completed, we applied a UV protective clear coat to protect the longevity and colors of the mural.
It was all a dream, until Artist Fabio Mesa was hired to bring his inspiration to Brickell's Fortune House in December of 2016 by .
Fabio, a well-established artist in Colombia, has been traveling to Miami to paint and participate in art exhibits for years.
"People ask us where the women are or why they are all men.
Really, they are all the same gender, the same sex and the same race. They represent all people because we are all people, and we all have dreams."
Brickell's Fortune House mural is his largest project to date.
